2013 Behiels Golden in Ottawa!
The 2013 Behiels team opened their spring season this past weekend apart of the Capital Victoria Day Classic in Ottawa! Here is how the weekend played out!

Tournament action would open for the 2013 Wranglers Behiels in a late morning matchup with the Ottawa Canucks marking the first game our Wranglers would play together. As they learned more about playing with their new teammates they would battle hard against the Canucks, but their comeback would be cut short as the clock would run out and the Wranglers would fall 4-2. Later in the afternoon would see the Wranglers back in action going head-to-head with the Phaneuf & Dunn team to end the opening day. The 2013 Wranglers would be tasked against a very strong Phaneuf & Dunn team, but they wouldn't give up and would hold the Phaneuf & Dunn team to a 3-0 score at the final buzzer.

Day 2 would go much differently for the 2013 Wranglers Behiels team with the morning matchup with the SSHD AAA Red team being a strong showing for our Wranglers. They would start to gel more and more each whistle, along with two games together under their belt and would come out on top with a huge 7-2 win to start the morning on the right foot. Now our 3rd seed Wranglers would be in the semi final game with 2nd seed Phaneuf & Dunn giving the Wranglers a chance for redemption from day 1. They would come out hungry and take an early lead, and be able to run with the lead and didn't look back, getting their win against Phaneuf & Dunn as they would win the semi final 3-1 to send them to the championship game!

The 2013 Wranglers Behiels team would matchup in the finals against the 4th seed SSHD AAA Red team who looked to stand in the way of the championship from the Wranglers. Despite some penalty trouble throughout the game, the Wranglers wouldn't let anything get in their way coming away with a championship shutout, a 4-0 victory, and a pretty sweet trophy and medals to boot!
We are so proud of your championship victory team! We can't wait to see how the rest of your spring season goes!
