2015 Langdon Wranglers Win Gold! - Weekend Recap
Our 2015 Wranglers (Langdon) were in the Senators AAA Spring Cup in Ottawa this past weekend winning big! Here is the day-by-day recap of the tournament!
The 2015 Wranglers were on fire this past weekend at the Senators AAA Spring Cup in Ottawa boasting a perfect 5-0 record along with some hardware to bring home from the capital! The first game of the weekend would see our 2015's tested against the SSHD 2015 Red team which they would pass with flying colours, coming out with a massive 10-1 win to kick the tournament off right! In their second game of the day, they would be matched up against the Valley Elite Jr Wolves. Our Wranglers came out on top winning 4-2 over the Jr Wolves to end the day with a perfect 2-0 record!
Day 2 the Langdon Wranglers would keep moving full steam ahead into their first game of the day when they would take on the Maplesoft Hawks. The Wranglers would ultimately prove to be too much for the Hawks as our squad would take a huge 8-1 victory to start day 2 just how they ended day 1, winning. In their final game of round robin, they would see SSHD again, but this time it was the SSHD 2015 Black team. However, the Wranglers kept battling and overcame the SSHD 2015 Black team, finishing off the round robin with a shutout and a 7-0 win!
The 2015 Wranglers (Langdon) would be getting to play some Sunday playoff hockey going straight to the championship game! They would be met by the very team they ended day 2 with, the SSHD 2015 Black team. However, our Wranglers would continue their dominating progress of the Riot Cup winning in stellar fashion with a 10-2 win to take home the Senators AAA Spring Cup!
